hey shodude, were can i get one of these tuners? which do you recomend? how much is a cam weld job, because i work at a big garage in watertown and i want to see how much they will charge to do this job. thanks for the help guys!

The camweld is something you want done by someone who has a lot of experience at it. You're welding dissimilar metals, one of which is thin, while the cams are still in the engine. Get it done by NESHO, or someone else who's very experienced. There is a list of good cam welders on www.v8sho.com.

NESHO is also a dealer for the tuners. They use the SCT XCal2 tuners.

by the way, i have a 1998 black sho if that matters for the tuner
Not a problem tuning your '98. You could be in and out of our shop on the same day with welded cams and a brand new SCT XC2 tuner custom tuned to your car for around $1200, and know that both are done right and best of all done locally. From Belmont to Spencer is about a 45-minute drive.

Hey is it possible to email custom tunes? I got an XCal2 from jrcrum, but it's for a 97 he traded in. I just use it to pull codes right now. I'd have to pay for a new tune though. Just seein if its possible.

Yes, we can send you custom files specific to your PCM that you can upload to the XC2 via LiveLoad 3 (available at http://www.sctflash.com/downloads.php )

Just send me a PM with your PCM code and what you're looking to have done with the tunes.

It's usually something a seller makes a point to mention when they're selling a car, but if you're really curious you can pull the front valve cover off and look.

You want it to go real fast, trade it for a Mustang or if you need four doors a Charger. Improve the shifting and acceleration, get an SCT X-Cal tune. Want it to sound cool, Portorize it and put on some SS Borlas or Bullits (I have Flowmasters 40's but I don't live in the rust-belt anymore). Other then that you are going to make mods that are going to end up costing you in the end.
