V8 questions

Do any FSHOC members know anything about The V8s?Im in a position to get one with 130k ATX and ditch my Gen2s.I'm trying to see if there are compitant mechanics that weld cams and do preventative maintenence like protecting the rear wirling harnesses and such.Thanks.---Alaric

i know there is one guy that does cam welds in Palm Bay.
he's listed on either shotimes or V8SHO.com whichever one had the list of people who do cam welds.
also Kirk D. is down here in Florida several times a year,maybe contact him?

Contact NESHO to see what they can do. Like Brian said, Kirk is down here a couple times a year, and is also in TN several times a year.

Carlos Leon in Palm Bay. He did the cams on my wife's '97, had it done in one day in about 5 hours. He works out of his house, but I was impressed- I watched the whole procedure, took lots of pictures. The guy knows his Gen-3s. Somebody else wrote him in already on V8sho.com-

I wouldn't trade a decent looking or running gen2 for a gen 3.........

but maybe your gen2 doesn't fit that description........
