Ok, I searched the forum and v8sho and didn't come up with anything. Doesn't mean its not there though.

BUT...

Just some random info that im sure someof you g3 gurus will know.

1. What is the stock MAF size?
2. Current viable MAF upgrades (80mm, or higher)
3. What are any gains, if any, by using a larger MAF?

Thanks boys

Stock is 80 mm.

I suppose you could "upgrade" to a lightning MAF (90mm?). But it isn't necessary. It's not exactly a bottleneck and there's a better chance of it not running right than there is of gaining any power.

The only reason to change the MAF is if you went to fatter injectors and wanted more accurate metering. Otherwise, the stock 80mm MAF is good for just about anything anyone could do to one of these cars.

Ya, during the course of my readings I stumbled upon a report Kirk wrote saying that the stock MAF is good till 300 HP or so
