Ok had to fix a link in the transmission cooler lines on the 93 SHO ATX but had to remove the whole metal line also. But now the plastic clip insert that holds the line the tranny has just about failed. I had to do this about yr ago and hasn't faild until now will hold fluid but hit a couple big bumps and then it goes out everywhere. Any idea on where I can get that plastic clip insert. Need this so I can get to work. Thanks

The dealer should stock them. You may also call a local parts store, I would imagine they have them in the help section.

Best thing to do is eliminate the metal lines. They are very restsictive.

On the Gen 3 I used 1/4" mNPT x 3/8" hose barbs. Easy to find. Eliminated the radiator cooler all together. Used regular tranny line hose.

I don't really know. I have a Gen 2 cooler and the lame factory tube and it is more than I need. Highest temps have been 225F. When it's cold like now I have to block it off. Putting an oil t-stat in for it tomorrow. I didn't want to add any more heat to the engine cooling is the main reason I did it. You don't get any heat to speak of from the radiator in the winter.

Good point. I now remember I have a heavy-duty tranny cooler from an asphalt steamroller that I can use. Its about three times as big as the stock cooler, i'm going to see if i can figure out how to put it in place of the stock one.
