Any internal motor work or transmission upgrades needed before purchasing the ATP upgraded turbos? It is my daily so I'm not sure I wanna dump that kind of money into it just to have it go boom!

I would get the GH turbos. Completely plug and play, and they have the ability to make more power than the trans can handle.

They also do not sacrifice anything on the bottom end. Plus they will come with a tune as well.

Agreed. I bought the Gearheads a little over 2 months ago and never thought twice about reliability. As far as upgrades for your motor, it's about if you want more power or a stockish ride. More power equals more upgrades.

Always want more power......reliability is the issue.
My car is my daily driver. It's a 13 PP Interceptor it takes a beating from responding to FD calls and when I want to play with. As long as you have your cooling system in good shape your turbos will stay cool. If there is no sludge or burnt oil during oil changes your turbos will stay lubed. The upgrades are upgrades the CHRA is totally replaced and more efficient in power and cooling. Unless you go with a HPFP the turbos won't even break a sweat driving around and messing around.

I currently have damn near every bolt on except hpfp and intercooler (on waitlist). Just don't wanna dump another $3k+ then blow my motor or trans.

It's all about how much you want to tune it. ATP and GH turbos can rod your motor if they turn them up enough. Being conservative however you can get away with still having some reliability.

Let me re-phrase....Buy a daily that will get you good mileage, keep you safe, and doesn't give you the itch mod it as well.

I modded my new daily....LOL.

Anyone know how much this trans is good for?
