i need a damn rod shifter!!! lol or my car wont be running all i need to do is hook that up and im good but no... i cant find a rod
shifter anywhere.... called like 10 different junk yards and no luck if ANYONE has one i need it immediatly so i can finally drive my car and what about ur flywheel dan?

still working on it... i think im just gonna pull the third pin out and cold weld all three in there... it doesnt matter if its "out of balance" that much does it... we're talking a few gram pins verses a nearly twenty pound flywheel...

any ideas?

its reccomended that you atleast skim the surface even though you replace the inserts... if the machine shop tells you to just replace the inserts.. id take it somewhere else... when you tighten the inserts, they can become a little warped i wouldnt worry about it now though... it might fix itself...

Dave, Remember those flywheels I had resurfaced. Well I forgot all about them and I never put a rust preventing agent on them. Now they are all full of surface rust. Im assuming they need surfacing again?

Ooooo Adam that sucks. Try some 120 grit and see if that works. If it doesn't, I guess you'll have to. I really never had problems with that clutch/flywheel combo when it was in my car and I have plenty of people that can vouch for me. But I really hope it works out for you. Just try to take it easy for awhile as you're getting used to the flywheel. I found that you have to either give it more revs or let the clutch out slower that the stock flywheel, so maybe you're slipping it too much? Just a thought. Adam, If you want that Y-pipe, I'll trade it for a good 26mm rear SB.

The flywheels im talking about are my two spairs that were sitting in the garage. The one in the car is good. Mike I dont think I have a 26mm rear. All I have is a 93 rear which is a 22-24mm?
