To NWSHOC and Pugetsound SHO
Just a quick reminder of a couple events of interest.
1) The Mustang Roundup is scheduled for Thursday July 14th - Sunday July 17th. www.mustangsnorthwest.org/roundup A group of us are planning to drive in the open track event on Thursday the 17th at Pacific Raceways (was SIR). There are still open slots last I checked if anyone else wants to join in. So far we have Kurt, Karen, Mike, Victor, Casey, Kris, Gene and Glen) If Glen brings his SHO, that will be at least 8 SHOs in a 80 car track event!. Even if you don't want to drive, you can come out and watch. It does cost to get in, so you will need to check the website for amount (I think it is $10). There will probably be hundreds of Mustangs on display. Two years ago was awesome when we went. If you are up for some fun, take cotton jeans/pants and a long sleeve shirt, and I am sure we can find a passenger seat ride for you in one of the cars. The SHO group plans to all go out to dinner together Thursday night if you want to just join in for that. You can e-mail off list and I will give you contact info for us.
2) The NWSHOC has been invited to a DYNO day and tour July 23rd. The sponsor of the event has a small race shop in Coos Bay Oregon. He has built a TWIN TURBO SHO powered Probe, and we will get a close look at it. He also has a Dyno and sound meter for those who want to see what thier cars are really like. I plan to dyno Karen's supercharged SHO to see what it is putting out at the wheels. A group of us is planning to drive down Saturday, July 23rd for the dyno day and BBQ. Most plan to go out to dinner and stay over night at the coast. Sunday we will take a scenic caravan drive back up the coast to homes.
Anyone else plan to attend these events? We will be there
