The results speak for themselves. There are several posts about people that have run other tuners, switched to us and ran better times. To call us,"sophomoric" is insanely off base. The fact is that we offer remote tuning that goes out to the track and wins. Ask @BamSHO...he is on a pretty impressive win streak.

Basically you just proved my point..... sophomoric. You aren't the only tuner who wins on the track. And currently you aren't even the tuner who makes the most hp.....
You have amazing tunes. Just not my cup of tea. As every car takes to mods differently and a base tune. No matter how amazing it is. Can't account for that.

I think anyone like BamSHO that can take advantage of LMS' track tuning services would be crazy not to. Their local customers that get the extra service have cars that are beyond impressive.

There are people winning on many different tunes. I know I've seen a post where someone switched tunes while at the track and then the response was it didn't have time to learn and that's why it was slower. I don't have a money to buy another tuner as I would imagine it would gain me at best a 1/10th. But if I did I would love nothing more than to go to the track, load on an Unleashed tune (no learning time), run the car, let sit to remove heat soak, load Livernois tune (no learning time), run the car, and compare the results. Then it would be comparing Apples to Apples with the same car, same conditions (or as close as possible), and only difference being tunes.

My conclusion is that Unleashed and Livernois tunes are very close. There may be a difference between the two and Livernois may be faster. But they're close enough that the major factor in from person to person becomes the driver's mod. Obviously if one was significantly faster than the other there wouldn't be the same debate about who's faster.

You have amazing tunes. Just not my cup of tea.

They (me) held the highest hp title for 2+ years..... before Jacob came along with much more mod work than even I invested (intercooler, aux fueling, etc.) and only beat it out by a mere scant 3whp.

So I wouldn't be so quick to discount LMS's achievements across the board.

Not to mention they've invested much more heavily into the EB platform as a whole, with parts, engines, etc. beyond just mere tuning.

Like others have said, it's close enough in the grand scheme of things, that individually speaking, anyone can't go wrong with choosing either vendor.

No need to keep stirring the *** and acting like a tool there korn. If it's not your cup of tea, then that's fine. Move on. Goof.

Has anyone compared dyno sheets between you and Jacob? We all know peak power isn't everything. Not trying to start an argument, just wondered.

I know Jacob & I have exchanged some emails, and have been helpful towards each other..... I mean in the long run, it all benefits the community as a whole.

I don't readily have access to my dyno sheet, as I am literally counting the hours until my flight departs for my out of country vacation, but I'm sure LMS has it.

I think Jacob has his posted somewhere.

Maybe somebody techy (like SHOdded for example) can locate both of ours, and post them simultaneously, side by side????

I think mine is in my video that was posted in the StangTV article.

I'm not taking away anything lms has done. They do amazing work. The only thing I find hilarious is there complete aversion to datalogging. Ecoboost or not. An engine is an engine. Whether it's hand built or mass produced. Anytime you throw a base tune on something. It can be improved. Does not matter if it's a 8 sec dsm, a 2000hp gtr or a bolt on sho.
Regardless we have strayed far from the original ssi vs unleashed.

This entire community often strays off topic. So meh..... whatev's as the kiddies say nowadays.

As far as data logging, the biggest issue is the information being acquired by each of you, and then in turn, sent to your tuner for revision.

As LMS pointed out, using differing equations, pids, and the like, will ultimately result in differing information in the long run.

I know that the touch screen MyCal device (now no longer offered by LMS) does provide the capability to data log.

But in my case, completely unnecessary as my tunes are all custom dyno built at their facility.

I wish secretly that they still did offer the touch screen version of their MyCal (like I own) because it would put a lot of this back/forth to rest.

I'm not personally a big fan of their non touch screen devices, as they don't appear as nice, or intricate as mine.

Regardless, either vendor has quite competent product offerings.

Yes nothing beats a dyno tune....which is datalogging and making changes as needed. Lol.

How much boost? Heard ssi runs the tunes hot. Mine was only 15lbs of boost.

I held around 16. I was concerned myself about all the SSi talk, so I had John McAdoo who runs Unleashed read my data logs, and he confirmed that they looked very safe and no where near as ragged edge as he had expected.

Never heard of John mcadoo.. Thought torrie ran unleashed..the log I got from the 12.4 was on key, no knock (e20) no pulled timing, boost steady.

John, was running 11's with Unleashed and meth, pretty involved in the scene. I just wanted a 3rd party to double check. Torrie runs the company, I meant John runs his tunes.
