underdrive pulley

so my stock underdrive pulley split apart and tore up my new belts. i found one at the j/y yesterday and i was wondering if i could do something to it to keep it from splitting again like welding them together? i know that the rubber is there for a reason and if its solid i run the risk of ruining my crank bearings. but, they make the solid aftermarket ones? what do i do?

just use a stock pulley

Option 1, find a good used dampener.
Option 2, buy a SHO SHOURCE Aluminum dampener.
