The V8 Paradox
First of all, I would like to say that I'm NOT trying to brag, I'm just kind of confused.
After not being able to sleep, I was just poking about the forum. I found some posts that said people noticed HP increases by barking tires.
Now's where I REALLY begin to think that my SHO is a factory freak. If I am at a dead stop and just stomp the gas (no brakes used) my SHO will normally revv up to around 4600 rpms and smoke the tires before going anywhere. Even on fresh new white paved roads (the highest grip roads around here) my SHO will still make a lot of tire squeal, but no smoke. My tires have a rating of 280, so its not like they are rocks or anything.
Now's where I brag:
Also my SHO will smoke the 555Rs if they aren’t properly melted. They make lots of stinky bellowing smoke.
I think it was 99V8SHO who first accused it of a freak when it dynoed 195 WHP with only a K&N, now I think he's right...
Does anyone else have similar experiences?
