Well for the first time in my sho fun ive hit a wall with a challenge. I replaced the intake on bandito with a powdercoated unit and did the silicone coupler upgrade and a shim service while i was at it. This powdercoated intake came off another car. Anyways i bolted everything up and all looked perfect. Hooked the battery up and started her up and she idles very rough and coughs a bit. Every once in a while the idle jumps and it sounds great but then it goes back down to the bogging idle. So i checked the codes and heres what ive got:
with it not running:
15
14
with it running:
91
77- i guess since i didnt do the goose test
74- since i forgot to press the brake
52- yep, i forgot to turn the steering wheel too

So with those codes said does anyone have any suggestions? The car ran great till i did this. Im a bit stumpted. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks guys, Karson

EDIT:I forgot to mention that ive got an LPM so id assume thats what my code 15 is from.

I take it you have looked for vacuum leaks? Create a vacuum leak to see how it effects idle. Any disconnected sensors? Wire sequence...theres a been a lot of switched spark wires lately. (coughsuperhocough)
Did the AIB come from the new intake or the old one?
DIS?

Cover up the throttle body with your hand to increase the vacuum in the intake...don't stall it you though. Perhaps a leak will get loud enough for you to hear it.

Are you using the old throttle body/TPS or the one from the donor?

Make sure the MAF is plugged in well and the air inlet hoseclamps are tight.

Some of us have to work and sleep...

Remove the LPM until you get the car fixed. It only complicates things.

Verify your IGN GND integrity. Sounds like you lost ground from the DIS module to the engine block.

Verify spark plug wires are in the correct place. Easy to cross wires ....

did you make sure to tighten down the intake in sequence? i didnt do that once, and had a horrible idle, I couldnt find any vac leaks with carb cleaner, so i thought maybe since i had the intake off, it wasnt sealing correctly... took it off and replaced it and bingo ran perfectly

Thanks for the help guys. I took it all apart again and made sure i got everything tightened evenly then put it back on again and its perfectly fine now. I did the shims as well as replaced all the old rubber stuff and it runs like a scalded cat now. Alot more pickup throughout the powerband than before. I guess it does it pretty good to do some refreshing after 170k miles ehh!
