Cars, that is.

Wife clocked a Deer a couple days ago, her car is on its' way to the shop tomorrow. Pretty shook up, but she's OK.

Son slid in the shiite tonight with his (my) wagon and hit a curb - drove the front drivers' side wheel back nicely into the wheel well and also bent the life out of the wheel there at the bead.

Just came home from picking him up. Can't wait to see what that looks like in the daylight. He too is OK, didn't seem to upset about it - until I reminded him no car = no job and no girl.

Mebbe I'll head out to the garage now, I hear there may be a beer or two left out there...

Wow, glad to hear both Kelly and Patrick are OK! :thumb:

I hear that there's this new kid on your block with a fancy Volvo now, perhaps he'll be a kind soul and provide taxi services while the family autos are being repaired. I even think Pep Boys has those taxi-riffic beaded seat covers and incense on sale!

Haha, yeah thanks Chris' :nut:

The wagon I fear may be shot. Really wanted that car to last, and not to have to buy another as he will be done as of 26FEB when he goes in.

Damn.

Well, we'll hava look later this morning.

Should've bought Rustys' dirty black SHO when I had the chance...

Well that sucks. Glad to hear no one was hurt. Two incidences in one family though. The last deer that ran into me...many moons ago...ended up in the freezer, that'll teach the son of a...

I swear to God I haven't shook hands with either of them in a loooong time.

Sorry to hear Mel, but glad everyone was OK. I'm sure Rudy will be more than happy to let someone borrow the Sentra. I think he still has it? Not exactly sure but I think he said he kept it. I saw Dirty Black on eBay for 2995, you should buy it for Patrick.

Yup, Pats' first crack-'em-up.

Moving along at a pretty good clip (by the looks of the - solid round stock - trailing arm...) failed to nav a turn and cranked a square curb with the drivers' side front wheel turned all the way to the right. Happened in the Danbury "Sports Authority" parking lot after work Friday night. "I wasn't going that fast, Dad..." :)

As far as the Deer, Kelly shot the last one she came across a couple years ago that the guy in front of her hit. As she was coming home from school where she works, she wasn't armed. Even if she was, it was a body shot from the car, so the meat probly wouldn't have been any good anyway.

Ya know Blfb, I really thought about buying Randys' car for what they gave him on trade, but he talked me out of it. Patrick seemed kinda interested in it too, but it did need work and he's leaving in February anyway so it just made more sense to let it go.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone. They're both fine, and hopefully have learned a lesson that'll stick for a while...
