im thinking of buying the tweecer off of midwest sho .. i was wondering how hard are they to program .. i have little knowlage in tuning .. and can it be tuned without a laptop..my car is stock with an opened up intake and exhaust .. would it be even worth buying ..not planning on doing much more in the performance area ...would i be better to just get the superchip or hypertech on my car

my opinion, its not worth it. unless you go forced induction, then its almost mandatory.

While the initial learning curve can be steep, it is well worth the effort if you want to do things right.

Technically, yes, although a laptop is required for on-the-fly (or in-the-car) changes.

Only if you a) plan on increasing power output in the future (blower, turbo or nitrous), or b) simply want more control.

IMO, your best bet here would be to a) consult with Ted Breaux about an LPM (usually $200 USD) or Doug Lewis about an SCT chip (usually $300+ USD), or b) if you know someone with a TwEECer (whether it be a Mustang, SHO or other Ford owner), borrow their TwEECer long enough to get your tune "just right" or "close enough" and then send that file to me and I will burn you an LPM with a copy of that program for your car. ;)
