I did a search on Tweecer Crash Course, and could not find anything.

I just picked myself up a Tweecer Rt from SHODoodMorris and am needing a crash course on how to program it. ?

Is there any good links or sites for me to browse?

Thanks, Tom

Download the manual and read it ;)

There is no crash course and you'll have to do most off the research on your own. The best you're going to get is asking specific questions AFTER you've done your research.

There is a TwEECer board found on www.tweecer.com.

The best tweecer board is eectuning.org they will help you out tremendously. The guys over there don't do the normal use the search button attack when you ask newb questions. Instead they just don't respond. Do your research first and ask specific questions over there. Another thing I bought along with it was a ford eec tuning book. It can be found on ebay for around 40 bucks and tells you just what the eec iv thinks and does.

It's not that easy . You need to have a pretty good knowledge on tuning in general the Tweecer is very powerful . Read as much as you can on the matter and make small adjustments. Save and make notes . Some features are not supported for the SHO learn what these are .WOT is easy tuning for driveability and throttle response is the tricky stuff.Good luck .

The strategy isn't available just yet but Binary Editor i think is a lot better software and makes tuning a bit easier.

What is so bad about it? The software I use for my Subaru is about on par as user interfaces go. Both are very direct.

The only thing people don't understand is that its made for tuners. Its not made for your everyday ricer fan-boy. Things like the apexi or even the handhelds for obd2 cars are not great tuners. I personally think they are garbage. The tweecer is very difficult but I like that about it. You have to learn it. So only the guys who have the drive to get it learn it.

Well, I just printed out 47 pages of the manual, so now it's time to start learning....

I'd rather practice on my stock engine and learn, than to practice on the supercharged engine and melt a piston or such...

That is exactly what I did. You'll be hard pressed to break this motor tuning NA.

One reason you won't find people just explaing how to use the TwEECer is because there is FAR too much to just explain on a forum.... Where would one start? Once you have an understanding, we can help you put the pieces together.

This is the best summation of my thoughts on the matter . Because I'm not confident in my abilities to give alot of advice but I help out when I can.

and that is why I asked what he would be tuning. Starting with a stock motor first is the really the way to learn. Remember there is no secret setting that will get you to 300 HP. From the EEC side, Ford/Yahama tuned the engine for the best all around performance with a little bit of a safety margin. You can improve on it, but it isn't going to yield a whole lot.
