Hi everyone,

I am contemplating turning in the SHO for a new Raptor. I am completely torn. Historically I have been a truck guy but converted to the SHO in 2015. Mine is a black PP with 7,000 miles on it. I really like the SHO. However, the Raptor has been on my mind for a while. Comments? Thanks in advance.....

Tough call!!! That raptor is hot!! If I had the money for a Raptor I would probably pull the trigger...

I have no use for a vehicle that large but the new Raptor is an awesome vehicle. If I were a truck guy as you say you are, I would be very tempted!

I would love to buy a truck as well but I'm going to wait for like 2-3 years before I do that.

Take it for a test drive if you can drift it in a lot on pavement totally worth it.
To me.
I believe they already have port injection on top of direct injection so adding power should be a lot easier without meth.
And drive e train probably easier to upgrade since I doubt there is a ptu to worry about.

While I think the Raptor is cool-as-****, I can't imagine any scenario where it would make sense for me to own one. My regular F-150 is pretty much able to do anything I need it to. Well, except 0-60 in 5 seconds, though, I guess I don't need it to since I have a SHO :)

If I ever needed to own a truck, a Raptor would be the one. And I couldn't possibly care less about trucks. If you like it more than the SHO go for it. Awesome vehicle.

Thanks. I already took it off road today for a spin. It handled the dirt roads like a champ, although it was plastered with mud. But it was fun. LOL

I didn't realize they made the 2014 f150's with the 6.2L. Not a raptor.
