2016 SHO smoking badly. 83k on clock. Dropped to dealership, both turbos leaking oil into engine, no compression on number 2 cylinder and 4 quarts low on oil after checking it and full 2miles before. Dealership is going to warranty the engine, but not turbos. Problem is NO ONE has turbos that I can find. CR turbos, Stage 3, GH, BNR, Tasca. Anyone know of anyone else that could supply the turbos? Car is not driveable and has been down for six weeks and it is my daily. Ford Turbos on backorder with no date or manufacturer estimate. Would be willing to send in cores for rebuild...I did find a company out of Quebec for rebuilds but no info on them for any reviews. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Though not my favorite vendor, I believe Rock Auto has them available.

Do you have oem part numbers for each side?
I found original AA5Z6K682F with several superceding numbers here

I am not certain whether there are different part numbers depending on the side of the engine, but I would guess probably so. You can check with local ford parts dept. for part numbers. They will usually work with you if they have no sale to lose by shopping the item around. This is out of inventory so should be good.
If you have the part numbers you can use them to shop around the interwebs.

I agree with Majestic that aftermarket sellers show some available ie-- rock auto, ebay, other chains show some in inventory. Triple check they are correct before you start getting items shipped. May just want to use local chain for easy return/warranty in future. They are not exciting and can't vouch for quality, but you need it to run soon.

CR isn't bad, the company located in Canada but they don't make a whole new turbo. TurboBay or GH, use their cores, save yours and have them rebuilt as spares. I recommend to be sure to get all new o,-rings and seals for lines . If mechanically inclined, I would go ahead and get yours off now. Maybe get some practice in how to install new ones. Dealer or shop will charge just as much as turbos are worth for lol labor. They wanted to charge $1,200 for each turbo. On my F150, Just last week dealer quoted me over $3,000 to change injectors, did myself, took 5hrs, but saved $2,300.doing my self, that included new Bosch injectors, Delphi coils, ngk plugs, O2, coolant flush, installing pumps back in and Meth, car sucks stock.

you may have to call them as to actual delivery time but show in stock/for sale. easy to work with over the phone.

a lot of sites are saying newer updated p/n for these turbos
for example

worth a call.

update: Turbo part number LU2Z-6K682-B national back order. Called dealers in Texas, Cali, Michigan, Florida, and Ohio. All the same answer. Texas dealer told me there were 730 some on backorder and another 300 or so being added. No ETA or manufacture date at all yet. Im unable to use aftermarket turbos due to voiding the warranty on the new engine. (at least the engine is here....) SO the wait continues. Been 3 months now, dropped off on October 10th, 2022. Car is undriveable as it burns its entire oil capacity in around 20 mins idling. After running the afternoon it started smoking through my head a couple of times, i know i heard something grinding loudly and then stopping before the oil all went away. I am willing to bet is spit the wheel off of exhaust side of the front turbo. Only a guess however. Dealership has been great, currently driving an escape off their lot while waiting.

Anyone else in turbo purgatory?

Thanks to all who chimed in with other suppliers, appreciate the info. Great source of info here on SHOForum!

It now not just turbo backlog, my car has been sitting for almost a month due to no front right CV axle assemblies in stock. Tasca had 4, one shipped damaged, returned, they removed the other four. I found a motorcraft CV axle on ebay that sold for $350 due to shortage. Not even the dealerships can locate me one. RockAuto doesn't even list the front right CV axle assembly anymore.

I wonder if there are some rebuildable parts in the supply chain. i.e. companies where you can send them the core and they can rebuild it and send back. We used to use RAXLEs or something like that way back in the day to try and get SHO front axles rebuilt vs using just regular taurus aftermarkets that were available.
