Absolutely and I've moved your topic to the correct forum so you can get some answers to your questions.

Always remember that maintenance (like 60k) should come before the "good stuff". Welcome to the forum! :)

AFAIK, there is only one s/c gen2 atx (although the number 2 seems to nag at me). i think NESS did that one, feel free to correct me on that anyone. i'd suggest upgrading your transmission, as the 93 atx was the lab rat of gen2 atxs, and not as beefed up as it should be. there are no turbo atxs. i'm not sure how similar turbo-ing an atx would be to mtx, but for general info, check the turbo related threads in this forum, and do a search for posts by "toolman", as he gave an extensive write up on what turbo-ing the SHO entails.

not to be/sound like an ****, but if you do a search, you'll find TONS of useful/relevant information. i'm pretty sure that a good handfull of the FI guys are using custom low comp pistons. i'm not sure what else they've done to strengthen the internals, but a search will. ;)

Welcome to the forum. :thumb:

You can call around for turbo vendors they can put one together for a SHO for around $4500.

Supercharger goes for around the same price new but sometimes can be had for half price used and beareally used.

The engine would have to be able to handle double it's normal power, so it would have to be very healthy to say the least.

Brakes would need upgrading, suspension, tranny would need a Quaife and a good clutch and flywheel.
