My SHO get horrible MPG. Does your's? Maybe I need to change out my spark-plugs. Which ones do y'all use on a tune-up?

Less than 100 miles, since fill-up, I already have about 1/2 tank left and I don't go anywhere.Have you calculated the MPG? Mine got between 17-19 Mpg. Mine I attribute to the failing transmission mostly. I expect a solid 1-2 mpg improvement when I finally replace my torque converter.
Spark plugs usually last about 100k.
I don't drive me car much, or hard. On occasion, I like to do a quick take off, but rare. "HOPEFULLY" this transmission shop will be able to take care of the shifting issues that it's had since I bought it in December.I am not sure on my gas mileage. At what RPM's do the secondary's open up? I would stay under that figure.
Depends on the demand, but generally about 3000.I am not sure on my gas mileage. At what RPM's do the secondary's open up? I would stay under that figure.
All of my brake things have been changed here recently. I just need to buy some better bushings for them.My 96 Rosemist gets 17/25 city/hwy with a rebuilt tranny that has about 20,000 miles on it.
Check your brake temps after a drive to see that they are all similar. if there is a wheel that feels much hotter than the others, then you may have a caliper hanging up. I have had that on many occasions over my years of owning many V8 SHO's.
It will hurt your gas mileage, and if it is rear brake, chances are you may not notice any steering issues.
