:woo-hoo::woo-hoo::woo-hoo:yes yes yes the day has finally came ghe sho will be back with some modifications in the process. but i have a question..... i have a cherry picker and no cradle.... how can i use this in the right wayto support the engine while i pull the engine?:thankyou:

There isn't really a right way.

But, if you have to, at the very least have 2 jackstands under the engine (with some kind of wood in between) And build some kind of support across the engine bay with 4x4s and chain the engine to that, just in case.

More support = less chance of death

so you cant really do it with a cherry picker?

You can, but it may leak down while you have the engine supported...or it could just outright fail and drop it. Hence, some jackstands under the engine after you have the subframe out of the way.

There is a lifting eye by the alt on the passanger side front. There is a place on the drivers side back of the block (sorry no pics) that is made for a stud or a bolt with a washer. This is what I use to lift it. I also built an engine support out of a 4x4, 2x12's and some threaded rod with nuts and washers. There should be some pics of home made ones here on the forum
