Trunk won't open

I just purchaed and programmed a pair of keyless entry remotes for my car. All of the buttons work, except for the "trunk" button. I hear a 'click' from the trunk when I push the button, nothing happens.

Even when I pull up on the trunk, and push the button, it doesn't budge.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Check the adjustment of the solenoid and it's release cable.

Open the trunk and look on the inside of the passenger side lip of the lid. The solenoid is mounted there. When it is activated, it pulls on the catch release just like the inside mechanical release lever's cable does.
