I have a trunk seal that I purchased a while ago but I am not sure if it is the correct one for a Gen 1. Will I be able to tell if I measure it. I want to check before I go ahead and put it on. Also, what kind of sealant should I use for the trunk seal?

I think you may be able to tell by the shape.Lay it out flat on the ground. The Gen I is a rectangle, the Gen II will have more of a "dip" in it on the long side.If it`s new,i have a part # you could check it against.

use gorilla snot for weatherstrip adhesive

its the best
Not on my SHO! ...no how ..no way! :p wink

Clear silicon sealant works well. It stays clear and flexible. Just a small bead will work well.

3M Weatherstripping Adhesive. a little goes a long way. 5 ounce tube at AutoZone for like 3 dollas. its what just about all auto manufacturers use for the weatherstripping.
