Trunk release latch

Anyone have a pic or know where the cable goes to, to unlatch and open the trunk. My lever is loose and doesnt open the trunk. I cant see where it will unlatch the trunk unlike the fuel door. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same issue. I haven't tried to fix it yet, but some input before I take on the task may be useful.
