Trunk Cover Removal

How do you get the trunk cover that goes over the amps off? It has a strap on it in the lower middle but I can't seem to work it off. One of my rear speakers isn't working and I need the cover off to repair or replace.

im assuming u mean the deck lid? you have to remove the rear seat back and there is two push retainers that you gotta pop out and then the deck lid will pull slightly up and out towards the front seats
not sure on the cover to the amp none of my sho s have ever had that secured

I mean the black rectangular cover that goes over the amps in the back of the trunk against the rear seats. I sat in the trunk and tried to work it out but it seems to have a strap holding it.

I dont remember any cover either but I would suggest the use of an inspection mirror. That may help you see what you need to do. Mine doesnt have a cover and its a 94.

my strap is velcro, maybe the strap moved and the part to "peel" is behind the cover
