My truck was loose already when I got my car. It's a 1994 Taurus MTX
After I installed my subs in the back my trunk broke and opens by itself
The latch on the trunk side that screws into the inside of the trunk completely busted off, the part where it screwed into the trunk took the entire screw part that is built into my truck out so there is like a quarter inch of the metal missing all around where it screws in on my trunk.

Its secured with a shoelace right now.

Can I use any taurus trunk or do i need a sho one. And does anyone have an emerald green trunk for sale

Mine busted out shortly after replacing the trunk seal. I had to place a peice of metal inside the trunk lid to re-enforce it and then I used nuts on the back side to clam it together until I can weld the peices back in. Been ok for over a year so I'm in no rush.

will i be able to use any 2nd gen taurus trunk for mine? Will the keyless entry still work for my trunk? I don't have any exterior keys for my car and the only way i can enter my trunk is through the keypad on the Drivers side door.

Will i be okay using a normal taurus hood

slo trunk is the same. you will just have to drill the holes for your spoiler. 93+ slo trunks even have the lower substructure of the trunk already drilled for the spoiler, just not the outside sheet metal. 92 trunk lids SHO or slo normally do not have the substructure drilled, although i've seen a few that do.
