What do you have to do to an '89 if you want true duals, but don't want to mess with the check engine light? The O2 sensors are my main concern. How many are there and do I have to move them around? shrug

You can route dual exhausts from the engine, but you must leave the oxygen sensor in each of the two down pipes prior to the catalytic converters. They are essential to the performance of the engine control system and its control of the air:fuel ratio. Dual exhausts still require that the O2 sensors are installed. You should use the search feature, hint, hint.

If you want a true dual system with one-off headers, contact me & make a serious offer. I may be going back to 2-1-2, which would make my setup available.
