Hello guys my previous order with RCM is still giving me problems atm I am just trying to get what I had paid for and I am finished dealing with this waste of time. The last things I had paid for the 2 motor mounts have not arrived. The transmission and strut rods have arrived via Fed Ex yesterday but the motor mounts (you would think they would come at the same time) have not and I can't seem to get a hold of RCM or he is just ignoring me.

I do not understand what his problem is with customers wanting to buy stuff off him you'd think he would be more interested in people willing to spend money buying his stuff. My car goes in for repairs to get this problem resolved next week but without the motor mounts there's no point in taking it into the shop! Should I file a dispute with Paypal over the parts that have not arrived yet? what should I do?

I've had no trouble with them. I've heard that sometimes they don't respond quickly to e-mails, but I haven't been in that situation. I ordered my rod bearing kits from them b/c they have the bearings, pickup tube, and pan gasket all as a set. I got my parts fairly quickly and will use them again. Maybe your stuff had to be ordered from their vendor. Who knows. You should get your parts, either way.

All I really ask for is just some simple communication thats all when I got the parts that arrived yesterday I expected to see the rest of what I ordered but no only half was there and with no answer as to why (I was figuring they were sent separately) I asked them that very question. That was three days ago and still nothing but silence heck I even sent a message directly to the phone number he gave me and still nothing.

I have ordered from them before but i did have to wait for my parts. You will get them but its at their convenience, not yours. For me RCM is an absolute last resort. I'll buy from SHOSource, Rock Auto, or individuals before i'll order from them. Its sad too cause they have a good selection of stuff to buy at decent prices.

I've had the same problem, bought a used blower control module from them. Got the part in a timely fashion, but they wouldn't respond to emails when I realized it didn't function at all and had found another one out of a Continental my buddy was junking that I could have for free that worked perfectly. Had to file a dispute and probably 2 weeks later got a response out of them. Had to ship it back at my cost.

I will never buy from RCM again. In the past six years or so, I've spent several thousand dollars with RCM. Late last year, I ordered an assortment of parts for my 91. Most of it arrived within a few weeks. One part wasn't shipped, and I sent an email asking them to just refund my money for the unshipped part. A couple weeks later, I got an email stating that my part should arrive the next week, and I could just return it if I still didn't want it. I sent a couple more emails without response, then just went ahead and returned the unopened package out of good faith. After a couple more months of unreturned emails, I was refunded most of the money for the part and shipping. I don't think it's too far out of line to expect a vendor to communicate now and then.

Well I'll give him till Monday to respond if nothing by then I am going to file a dispute with Paypal. This is inexcusable I spend nearly $300 on the motor mounts and he will not say why they didn't arrive with he other parts on Thursday. This is the second time i had to nearly threaten him with wanting my money back before I got a response hopefully I can somehow get the motor mounts I need to get this (I really hate to say this) headache back on the road.

I've met Russ from RCM twice now.
Both times was to pick up a load of parts. It's a 2300km, 27 hours, 1 country, 2 province and 3 states each time, with my F-350, so the price was right and the time window was short. Both times I had a really great experience with Russ. Plus many other orders from the internet.
But last year has been very difficult to have hardly any response from rcm.
Don't know what's going on, but I do have a steering rack core here, from more than a year ago that needs to be returned.

I just ordered from them for the first time last week, and it took them a few days to send me the tracking information, but I should have my subframe recall kit and fuel pump. My only gripe would be the time it's taken to get something from PA to VA. I could have just driven up there instead.

I did drive up to pick up my subframe and met a guy named David and he seemed to be a really nice guy but I was not going to take another 4 hour trip costing me around $120 (gas and tolls) to pick up 2 motor mounts a transmission mount and the strut tension rods so I had them shipped. On Thursday of last week I got the strut rods and transmission mount but no word on the motor mounts when I asked why the mounts were not there (I was figuring a possible Fed EX mix up) I have got nothing but silence. If or when I get the mounts I am probably not going to deal with RCM again this is just a stupid way to treat paying customers and its a shame really because I had hoped to spend alot of money buying parts off him but with the way they are treating me I am really discouraged into buying from him again.

Just wait, you'll get them...

Every RCM thread is the same. I always think they're old ones, but it's always new. In the end everyone has gotten their stuff.

I hope you get your stuff. I need to order some stuff from them soon. Let us know the outcome. IIRC I had my stuff within a week or 2. It wasn't unreasonably slow, and I'm an impatient, cranky person.

It really sucks for them because I oredered from them a few years back and got my parts a few days later, not one problem and at the time they would have been my first choice to order parts. But because of all the bad feedback I have heard I probably will never order from them again and I am sure I am not the only one who won't order from them because of all the negative feedback.
