Hello, my friend has a 1990 taurus sho 3.0l. He blew his transmission. He bought a used one for the local junk yard. They sold him one for a 1995. Anyone know if they the same?

yes they are, assuming he got a MTX tranny.......only diffrence is he has a cable shift car(enless modified) and that tranny is from a rod shift car...........

Same, but he needs to keep cable shifter bracket off of the old tranny.

and BTW, his old tranny is still worth a few $$. Blower guys buy them for the gears. ..normally local pickup..
