I got changed my oil yesterday and noticed that my transmission is leaking...could this be the cause of my CE light coming on?...I just got her about a week ago and she has 98 thou on her and I dont think it was flushed and what not @ 60k... headbang

I agree with Terry that the leaking transmission probably wont throw a code unless it is way low on fluid. Chances are the transmission has been serviced at some point in its life and did not get sealed back up properly. You can take it somewhere and have them do a trans fluid and filter change and they will have to drop the pan to do the filter (provided, of course, that is where it is leaking from).

I have tried 2 do the Test with the wires and when I turn the ignition 2 on the CE light comes on and stays on it's weird i have tried like 6 times and its always the same...as 4 the tranny idk if has ever been serviced it is coming from the bottle and they r as tight as can be. shrug

Bolts...my bad...another thing 2 note is that when i am stopped and I put my car in neutral the CE light of right away and as soon as i put it back into drive it pops right back on...
