Transmission stuck in Park 93 ATX...help

My car has a problem of the lock mechanism for the ATX shifter not releasing when you push on the brake pedal...you can't get it out of park. It just started this yesterday. Is there a sensor that needs replaced? Is something wrong with the shifter? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BOO switch maybe?
