Under heavy acceleration around 5-6 rpms for a spilt second doesn't go. I believe it's from 2 to 3rd. I want to say it's a transmission problem because it only does it from 2 to 3rd. And only every now and then and like I said a spilt second Its like it just doesn't want to go. Anyone else have this problem? 2011 Pp. 93 octane tune 3 bar map 170 stat. Cai. Corsa exhaust. VTA.

Are you logging by any chance? Any idea what boost level/load/fuel pressure at the rail etc at those rpms? Possible PCM is pulling timing to save itself.

No. I haven't tried that. I checked for possible boost leaks and nothin. But I will try that and see what I come up with. My usual boost levels average are 16-18 under heavy acceleration. Why would it be saving it's selfrom though?

Usually it's torque management or reaction to knock sensor readings that makes the PCM pull power. If it sees an overboost condition (possibly set a code), it can do the same. The boost levels you quoted should be no problem for the stock turbos, sustained 20+ might be. Do you use Torque Pro or SCT to monitor your SHO?

SCT. Sometimes I do hit the 20s+ so maybe that is happening. I'll have to run some tests on it and keep my eye open. Thanks SHOdded. Your number one!

If you do datalog, be sure to send them to Torrie for a onceover. He can spot anomalies pretty quickly.

When looking at the logs check the throttle position to see if PCM is closing it up... Mine used to do that because I was leaning out.
