I put in a new clutch and it would not disengage so I did something wrong when installing. So in trying to remove transmission it is stuck and I can't remove it. All bolts are out and its out about a half an inch. could something be jammed in the clutch fingers?

As per your suggestion I put the cable back on and pushed the clutch in but it's still stuck.
What do you think about unbolting the back part of the transmission from the bell housing section.

NO that will open up the transmission - it uses an integrated bellhousing.

You do have the trans side of the drivetrain dropped down enough to clear the framerail, correct? if so, put a jack under the trans to support it's weight to slide it off.

I have jacks under both the engine and trans and they are low enough to get the trans out. I've had it out once already. I did something wrong putting it together and I can't get it apart to see whats screwed up.

I finally got the trans out. It **** a big pry-bar and a come-along and most of the day. The disk was in right. for some reason the splines go jammed up and now the splines on the disk are bad.
My guess is things were not lined up right.
