transaxle and axle

okay i installed new axle leftside, and the yoke cup what ever the real name is. has a slight wobble to it. side to side up and down. the seal is not leaking so i like to know is this normal??? and if not is there a bearing in there or bushing? is it hard to change can it be change with the tranny still in the car. etc? help needed

It is perfectly normal to have some movement. However alot is a good source for a vibration. Normally I have seen a vibration setup on the Passenger side axle. The diff wears in the case. this was only on two cars and they were Taurus's not SHO's though. But yes it is normal for some movement.

How easy/ difficult would you say this particular job has been? I have a torn outer CV boot on my driver side that I need to get taken care of soon. Thanks!
