trans swap

i know people swap a 3.2 into a MTX car, what about swapping a stick into a auto car? people do it all the time with mustangs, anyone ever try this? i know theres less to a trans swap then an engine swap,

A quick search should bring up some more info on this. I did it to my '93...it wasn't all that difficult but ever since the swap (25k ago) I've had a rough idle issue that I haven't figured out yet, not sure if it is swap related or not.

Having done the swap I'm fully convinced that it could be completed in a weekend with basic tools, as long as all the parts were there ready to go in.

sweet, definatly easyer than swaping a 3.2 in? is a SHO the only taurus with a stick?

i wouldent say that,there are countless 3.2 to MTX swaps.
while only a handfull of AUTO to MTX swaps.

also there was an MT-5 Taurus that were 5 speed 4 cylinders
only had about 90hp.couldent get out of there own way.86-88 maybe??
