trans issue

OK its not a sho but its a duratec but same tranny. I'm having a problem with the tranny. from a dead stop if i get on it to much the car shakes violently like something is skipping gears. its the ax4n so I'm sure someone on here would know what could possibly be wrong with it. I've been looking at things about the diff pins but not sure what exactly they do and if that could be it. I've changed the axles on both sides and the front wheel bearings so its got to be somewhere in the tranny. when it gets going above about 10mph and i get on it it only does it every now and then. but not that often. so please help.

How is the fluid? Is it full?

its full and its been doing this for a while. its gotten a couple of flushes and filters and nothing still does it. i get a 1744 code but only after traveling at highway speeds for a while.

I have a similar problem on my Explorer and when I shut the OD off it goes away.

You need a new torque converter.
