Tranny rebuild question

I have bought my rebuild kit from Southern Gear, and it came with bearings, seals, and blocking rings(brass rings with carbon fiber linning, except 5th). Now in Joshua's Video he replaces the whole synco assembly, My kit didn't come with it, and I can't get them from Southern Gear (I asked and they said i could get used ones MAYBE if I tell them what I need in advance, but in any case they would be used). Where do I get the whole asseblys?

Obsolete, so hard to find new.

Wouldn't worry about it anyway, the blocker rings are the real wear items.

The blocking rings are the real wear items in the synchros and will make a good difference in the crispness and speed of the shifts. You will need a bearing puller and press to replace the bearings on the input shaft. The bearings on the main and 5th gear shafts are a slip fit. Make sure you install the shims provided with the new bearings. The seals made a big difference on the leakage rates of my 269,000 miles old transaxle. It's nice not having drips under the car at that age.
