Tranny Problems

I think my Tranny's stuck betwwen 2 gears in my 89. the clutch ingages, so i can start the car but the car will not move and it stalls as sson as u let the clutch out. does anyone know a good place to take my car to in the providence RI or Seekonk MA area? And how much am i looking at? please help....thanks

Look under the car it sounds like you have one of the shifter cables of of the transmission.
