Hey i was just wondering what you fellow S-H-O enthusiasts feel about the various forms of transaxle fluid out on the shelves.. I just changed mine today, (69,460mi) and just put in some Royal Purple.. So far i have only put a few miles on it, but i think it's really nice. I was just wondering what everyone else is running in their cars....

GM Sychromesh(HIS) and GM Synchromesh(HERS). Best stuff I've found yet. Tried Redline, Amsoil, Mobil 1 and didn't like either.

I've run Mobil1 ATF in both my cars and it seems to work just fine. It's also $5.88/quart at Walmart :hail:

Tried Royal Purple didn't seem to make enough difference to justify the cost IMHO.

Anything is going to feel better than the original dirty fluid.

I have GM synchromesh since i did my clutch job. I have 400 miles on it and love the smoothness. Definately better then what was in there before.

$10.41 per quart sucks tho...

Synchromesh is used in most of GM's MTX applications so i cant imagine that its that bad for the tranny. I noticed noticable differences right away as may others.
