Tranny/Clutch removal: BackUp switch removal?

My crappy Chiltons manual and the SHONUT video don't really show the best way to remove the back up lamp switch from the tranny? Can someone tell me form this pic how?

Thats actually the lower speedo cable joining the VSS that is in the tranny. Just pull the pin out of the joint then pull the cable out of the VSS. Then use a 22mm wrench or 7/8" to turn it out of the tranny from below.
