I know what you mean about transferring the sensors to the news wheels.

the only way is to take the tires off and place them on the new wheels.

I wanted to buy new one for my car with my new wheels also so I can just change over wheels if I have to. they cost me $80 each wheel.

What year is your SHO. 2010's use bands and sensors inside tire. 2011 and up use Shrader Valve stem TPMS. 2010 owners need new bands as stock ones can't be re-used.

2011 & up should be able to move TPMS to new wheels.

There are cheap deals on Ebay for Sensors for both types. I have 3 sets of wheels for my 2010 Flex. Stock, A set with TPMS from TireRack, and a TPMS system in 3rd set from EBAY... All work identically. You need to also buy a re-set tool, or have dealer or Tire Dealer re-set for you. I paid under $30. for it and it has worked every time I switch.
