Because I live near Chicago, I am considering using my OEM 20" wheels with winter tires during winter months, and getting another set of "nice" wheels with summer tires for the summer months. When I put new wheels and tires on, how do I set up the TPMS? Do I need to take it to the dealer? If I had two sets of wheels and tires, both with TPMS, do I need to set up the TPMS every time I change the wheels? I know I could just leave off the TPMS sensor, but the dash light will stay on, and that will drive me crazy. Is there a way to disengage the TPMS, get rid of it, or take the light bulb out of the dash so the light doesn't go on? I personally feel TPMS in any car is a waste of time and money. Just walk around the car when you are filling up the gas tank and look at the tires. I know there are a few out there who swap wheels and tires for winter months, how do you guys tackle this issue? :thankyou:
