I downloaded that service manual and I cannot find the sequence to reinstall the intake manifold. I just replaced the valve cover gaskets, and intake manifold gaskets, and I can't seem to find the tightening sequence. Anyone got a graphic? (3.2 1994 ATX SHO)

I don't remember the intake manifold to head sequence but if you removed the intake manifold as 1 piece, just make sure the rubber couplers are loosened up when you seat it back on the heads. A little flex is needed to get a nice flush mount. Tighten intake bolts and then snug up the couplers.

Simply tighten the intake bolts from the middle on out. 15 ft. lb. If when initially removing the intake the bolts slid out smoothly, no need to loosen off the couplers when reinstalling as everything already lines up perfectly.

I've had it slightly kink when reinstalling and had to backtrack to figure out why there was a vacuum leak. Didn't notice it when it happened, and it took a while to figure out.
My advice is now always loosen a little to make sure it sets up flush, and snug it up. I also recommend to double check the wire and vacuum lines at the rear head with your fingers when you're reinstalling intake since you can't see very well back there. Why? Because my dumb **** torqued the crap out of it with a small vacuum line pinched under the rear manifold. You've done many more than me for sure. I just pass along my errors to keep those from haunting others.
