I'm wrapping up my front 60k and I'm attempting to torque the crank bolt to 126ft-lbs. What's the preferred method for this on the ATX? I did some searching last night and came up with a few methods:
1) strap wrench on damper (I tried this - broke the strap on my cheap-a$$ wrench)
2) c-clamp on damper
3) socket wrench on alternator pulley
4) impact wrench?
I have an impact wrench and I hit with that at 90psi - is that sufficient? I'd hate to see that bolt come loose.
Also - blue loctite or not?
