I emailed Anthony D last week with basic questions about his mounts for my 2016 SHO. Needless to say, within a couple days, they were in my sweaty little hands, and I just installed them today.

It was a very straightforward job, so much so that I keep expecting to find I did something wrong. The only hiccup is that stupid last bolt next to the downpipes. I have a Stainless Works exhaust installed, and I don't know if that helped or hurt the process. I could reach the bolt just fine with a wrench and socket, for the most part. But getting it torqued to the 75 FT-LBS with my torque wrench ain't happening. So I used the wrench and tightened it as much as I could. Used blue Loctite, so I'm hoping everything is good to go.

I can't believe how different the car feels now. I'm actually amazed that they're able to leave the factory with all that slop designed in with the OEM mounts. Are those things like that simply so the average driver doesn't have to experience the vibrations of more solid mounts, or is there some more legitimate reason (i.e., long term reliability)? But again, just a night & day difference!

I did notice the vibrations actually increasing somewhat the more I drove, but nothing even remotely close to being bothersome. I know it's supposed to subside after several hundred miles, and I only drove about 10 so far, so no worries at all. I guess the one and only concern I do have at this point is the trouble people have run into with the knock issue. Is this a legit problem to keep my eye out for? Or was that more of a problem with the original design?

I have zero knock. I also raised my idle rpm and in gear rpm up 100 rpms. I don't even notice the vibrations anymore.

Nice. I literally also just got mine the other day in the mail. Install tips would be nice lol.
Did you feel you had to raise your rpm @SM105K ? I know it says to on the instruction sheet.

I did. Like I said I don't even notice I have them anymore.

I'll put Brad's ghost cam back in with it. Probably shake like crazy. Like it did driving with a blown engine lol.
But really fwd engine sideways thumping dosnt "feel" right as its forward to back shake lol

I’ll reach out to GH to see about sending me a tune update for the RPM. Good info, thanks!

As far as tips go, just make sure you have an assortment of 15mm sockets, wrenches, extensions and the line available. From what I’ve read, different DP’s can make or break getting that last bolt in. Other than that, like I said in my original post, it’s an EXTREMELY straightforward job. Just take your time and double check everything.

Thanks bud. If my thunderstorm downpipe is in the way, ill remove it to make it easier. For your rpm, can't you raise it manually on sct? I know I can with ajp tunes. Maybe GH don't allow users to override idle and drive rpm and soft/hard rev limiter rpm

You should be able to adjust it with your tuning device.

So even with a tune from GH, you can still mess with the idle and things like that on the programmer?
I can in the options before I load my AJP Turbo tune. I can change speed limiter, in gear idle rpm, idle rpm, tire diameter...ect before I load my tune.

I have to adjust tire diameter myself and its super handy! Not all tuners have this unlocked.

These mounts really changed the car for me. Used to be a 50/50 on whether the car would stay in second. Love em

Did mine today. Yea you can feel it right when you start it up. You can feel the starter and the engine vibrates alot more. Ill see how it is after a few weeks of driving. It adds the seat massage option for free.

After a good five hundred not only do they break in but you also get used to it so when I would ride around in mine I would only notice while in gear at a light but I also never raised idle any

I probably won't raise my idle. I'm used to cars vibrating at idle and the way it is now aint nothing compared to my other cars
