Contact https://www.ghtuning.com/. They offer an internally upgraded TC for around $900. Otherwise if it were me, if not GH, I’d buy a new OEM TC. I think they are around $400 shipped.

I think my OEM TC with 76k was getting tired. I have a 2010 too, so you should have a 4 bolt TC. I bought GH’s TC and they only come as a 3 bolt. So you’ll need to buy a 3 bolt flex plate/flywheel and you’re good to go. I haven’t installed GH’s TC yet but from what I’ve heard it’s more of a built to last longer type deal than an increase in TC performance. As far as I know.

I have it installed from GH, at 400whp on daily 93 octane tune i dont feel a difference other than it being new. Maybe there is more of a difference at 600whp. More interested in raybesto stage 1 clutch plates.
If you need a tran ny, get a used one and have new clutch plates installed

That’s what I’m doing too. I’m going to use a 2014 trans with 61k miles for now until I build my 2010 with Raybestos

GH should have AT LEAST ONE TC available in a 4 bolt set up, as I sent the one from my 2010 in as a core for when I bought their 3 bolt set up for mine (I had a custom flywheel made, which is why I myself didn't purchase a direct fit, 4 bolt replacement).

Just tossing that out there. But I would defer directly to GH to verify he didn't do something else with it as it's been some time.

As cheap insurance, I would recommend updating the torque converter. The time and cash involved later to replace is way more than to just slide an updated unit in now while it's on the ground already. Gearhead or even a basic Rockauto type reman. You'll thank yourself when you don't have to redo work you have just completed. (I've been through two TC's already and one came with a reman trans from Ford)

Is the GH torque converter a hidden secret you have to call them for? I didn't see it on their website. As I'm starting to get ready to dig into my trans it would be nice to upgrade everything I can in there.

Yes you would need to call. Rather strange it’s not listed on their site. Like wicked weird. Makes you wonder

Yeah, it's crazy. Honestly, I'm starting to get bummed out about this platform. I have this car completely torn down to almost a classic car restoration status and now it's becoming routine that I can't get performance parts that others seem to have. It's like I just missed the boat and it's pretty upsetting or, saddening I suppose. Hopefully just a phase on my end and I have to remember that there are some major breakthroughs with things like the LSD, possibly clutches, other intercooling, etc.
My biggest fear is settling on some parts just to get the car back on the road and having those parts incapable of holding up to the rest of the build.... Even worse, me knowing that's the case.
Thanks for reading my tantrum LOL

I would start getting used to that feeling. Unfortunately.
