Can you get me confirmation on the numbers? I am sure Jason saw the run as well, I just want to make sure before adding it to the list. Was that in the white car or the track car? Very impressive given the heat and elevation!
I can ask Pat to post the time slip. This was also done one street tires.

Scott also ran a 14.9 here at 5,860 ft on N2O and street tires.

the sea level conversion table is total BS,i have had discussions with
other SHO guys that think if they were at sea level there stock SHO would
run low-mid 14's all the time,i say we stick to proof only,no slip=no post
I think elevation should be mentioned... A stock SHO here will see 16's and more likely 17's all day with a GOOD driver.

Back in Michigan ... again.
I have a couple, both N/A and also what I believe is one of the quickest near stock ATX times (maybe a few more categories for ATX and level of bolt ons would make a more complete table of SHO performance?)

1989 3.0, 80mm MAF, UDP's, LPM, PP catted y-pipe, stock catback with Dynomax magnum bullet mufflers. Street tires @ 25 psi, seats removed. Location: Muncie dragway, Indiana. Weather: 93 degrees at 11am, 90% humidity, no wind.

60ft. -----2.33
1/8 ------9.56 @ 75.05 MPH
1/4-------14.74 @ 96.10 MPH

14.74.jpg

1995 ATX 3.2, LPM & dynomax catback ONLY. Street tires @ 25 psi, seats removed. Location: US-41 dragway, Illinois. Weather: Upper 50's & cloudy with 15-20mph winds (same event where Ryan ran 14.5)

60ft.------2.19
1/8--------9.68 @ 73.39 MPH
1/4--------15.04 @ 91.24 MPH

15.04.jpg

I've not seen another ATX run this quick in nearly stock form. If there are others, please post!

Yeah I saw him do it too!! To complete your informationf for the table it's in my sig. 14.086 @102.17. Please get that video up that would be sweet. I don't have it on the bit of video I have I only have the timeslip to prove.

I ran this with the seats removed and a K&N panel filter:
60' 2.276
1/8th 9.643 @ 72.108
1/4 14.966 @ unknown

And a [email protected] with just the rear seat removed, K&N panel and Mccord Power plate exhaust cut-out.

Dang, I will have to find some of my slips. Does video count if it was not me driving? J Prine ran a 13.1, the vid is on a number of sites. Best I have ran is a 13.4 @ 114.7. But my NA SHO ran some 14.5's. I will get you slips soon.

I got a [email protected] with my black 89 (n/a) when it was full weight (minus passenger seat, was swapping interiors that weekend) back in april 02. I do still have the slip from that. IMHO that was more amazing than 12.92 with the bottle.

I simply took the 89 stock, stuck the 3.2L in there (with bolt ons) drove it to GA and ran 14.1 and 14.0's at silver dollar raceway. Came back to NY and ran it in 40 degree air and got [email protected]. The most amazing thing of that run was a 82 mph 1/8 mile trap! Not bad for ~255 hp. Car had stock seats, stock interior, etc. The cage went in the following spring.

I'll dig up the slip.

No problem. The details of Mr. Prine's run is on dragtimes.com. I can get it from there. I have seen the video myself a number of times.

Mark, I corrected the numbers on the N20 run and added the N/A run.

I also corrected some spelling errors on names

ATX and MTX N/A cars now have seperate sections.

Edit: What "bolt ons" did you have and what options were on your 89?

Holy **** I am going to be running August 5th with no weight at all on my optionless 89 (no trunk stuff, back seat, back padding, front seat, center console) with sticky tires, catless y pipe, dynomax, and UDPs...I wonder what I'll run...

At that point, it would only take four hex screws to remove the driver seat, and a few philips head trim screws to pull the carpet out. The trunk carpet also comes out easily.

I have figured that 100 lbs is worth ~.15 seconds in the quarter.

For anyone who goes to the track. The front passenger and rear seat come out with a total of six screws. :thumb:

14.8@84 here. Can that get me into the N/A class? This was a 3.2 MTX with some bolt-ons and a glazed clutch. I'm pretty sure I left the timeslip in the center console too.
