Hey Gang,
Hopefully someone has seen this.
I took my SHO in to have the o-rings on the AC replaced as it was leaking too quick to be worth refilling. While they had it, it started dying on them when it got hot. I figured it was the CPS because the last guy who had this car replaced the water pump, but didn't do the CPS while he had it apart (argh). But they said when they had it on the computer, it died on them and they looked and the cam & crank PS's were both outputting signal properly.
On all the FAQ's, they said the DIS rarely fails unless there is damage.. As far as I KNOW the connectors are good and not damaged. When I pick it up I will check them, but they said it stopped dying after that last one on the computer, so are not sure what to fix. Since it is running, I am going to pick it up as I still have tie rod work to have done on it. Has anyone else lost a DIS that wasn't due to damage or obvious heat problems?
thanks
Mark

You can always swap the DIS from one of your other cars and see what happens.

Be sure to carry a cell phone and that your auto club membership is current.
