Okay, I just called the transmission shop about a clutch job on my 95 MTX. I asked them if the clutch pack included a sleeve that the TOB rides on and he said that should already be there. He said the 89 and 90's were the ones that had that change but the 92's to 95's should already be like that. This is a different explaination than they gave me before. Is this accurate?
If they just put a new clutch in and TOB will this restore the smooth pedal feel? Right now it's real gritty, even after installing a new cable. The clutch doen't slip now but it doesn't feel like it's completely disengaging between shifts up or down. I don't want to drop all that cash into it and have it feel the same. It used to slip right into gear effortlessly.
