The SHO NUT Ceramic TOB can be used with any clutch, but is highly recommended for use with any performance stage 2-4 clutch.

I used the ceramic Throw Out Bearing (TOB) with my RockAuto Rhino Clutch Kit which was a stock Valeo, and it works fine.
I think the real value is obtained when you mate it with a clutch with a high pressure plate clamping pressure.
I did it because I am tired of having clutch / TOB problems which end up costing me a ton of money.

Yeah, I don't want to deal with that either, I would like to get the clutchmaster stage 1 kit but more than likely go with a stock unit(low on greenbacks)

having had my share of clutches, my personal pref would be the spec stage 2 with the ceramic TOB. i had issues with my clutchmaster stage 1 holding at high RPM.
