My name is Jeff. I am going to be moving down there (Blairsville) soon and just wanted to find out a bit more about your club and its members. How do I become a member? Can I contact the pres.? Let me know whats going on down there in Penn.

I do not think the club is active in an offical capacity. We just kind of meet up on occassion. The next meet will be happening soon and will include a run up the famous Dureya Hillclimb Course.

Unfortunately Blairsville is at the wrong end of the state for you to easilly take part in any local Liberty club events. Of course you are always welcome to drive the 4-5 hours to take part in any of our activities.

There is a great car show coming up in Carlisle, PA. That would be about a 2-1/2 hour drive from Balirsville, and well worth attending. Last year there were 20 +/- SHOs attending. You should really plan to attend this. Check the SHOforum / Liberty Club thread titled "Carlisle All-Ford Nationals" for details and registration information. We'll see ya there!

Also, you will have a great source for SHO parts in your general area. RCM Automotive, http://home.earthlink.net/~rcm_automotive/index.html, is close enough for you to buy new or used parts from. He is a good guy and sells at fair prices.

The Corral (corral.net) has a LOT of information on it but some people are turning into asstards. :hpoop: So take it with a grain of salt.
SVTPerformance.com has some guys that refer to the 5.0L Cobras a lot so you might be able to get information there.
If you need some really in depth information you can check out corner-carvers.com/forums and do a LOT of reading and searching before you post ANYTHING. They don't screw around on their site at all. If you don't obey any of the posted stickies you're toast. They don't tolerate ignorant or lazy people. :thumb:
I'm on ModularFords.com as I drive a modular Cobra mostly and I've seen a lot of good people on there.
Good luck! :thumb:
