Tire size= 225/55/16(stock on GenIII)
I cannot recommend any tires for winter use. I just bought a set of Michelin Artic Alpins for the stock '89 wheels for the winter.

For the rest of the year, I break out the good tires and rims :)

I've been to Billerica. You may want to check out the TireRack.com and search for tires by size. Lots of information and many choices in the 225/55-16 size.

like sdpatt said go to tirerack. The highest rated all season super high performance tires they have in the continental contact extremes. They are great they're dry weather traction is awsome. They rate the tires 1 through 10 and the dry weather traction is .3 lower then the best summer only high perf tires on the site. and a plus is they are about $85 a tire real cheap.
